Some options only have a long variant, not a short. If an option can be specified in more than one way, the choices are comma-separated.
The full list of the available options are described below. Rsync accepts both long (double-dash + word) and short (single-dash + letter) options. It can copy locally, to/from another host over any remote shell, or to/from a remote rsync daemon. Rsync is a fast and extraordinarily versatile file copying tool.
